THP-1000 - ANTICORROSION PROTECTION COATING MADE WITH VITON®

THERMODYN CORPORATION presents an easy to apply, quick drying and flexible coating made with Viton®. This patented product can be easily applied with a brush, roller or airless sprayer, right out of the re-sealable can. This means no mixing and no expensive waste.

THP-1000 offers superior corrosion protection and surface protection in virtually all enviroments. THP-1000 is based on Viton® Fluoroelastomers and is produced in conjunction with DuPont Dow® Elastomers - Global leaders in sealing technology.

THP-1000 will outperform all other FKM products available today.

The coating product - Viton® THP-1000 Fluorodyn is resistant to virtually all acids and hydrocarbons, including nitric, sulfuric and hydrochloric acid.
It is also resistant to aliphatic, aromatic and halogenated hydrocarbons, hot oil, hot acid and temperatures up to 244 ° C. Fluorodyn coatings are imprevious to ozone or U.V. Light.

The Fluorodyn product with Viton® is ideal for covering the containment of chemicals, petrol, gasoline, kerosene, jet fuels, oils, and autofreeze that may be spilled or leaked from primary or secondary systems and absorbed into the substrate, resulting in expensive enviromental clean up. It remains flexible and is easily repaired if  it damaged.

The chemically resistant coating THP-1000 does not crack, does not break and prevent the formation of corrosion centres.

The corrosion protection coating THP-1000 is an innovative solution in the fight against corrosion and chemical aggression. Works when all other standard anticorrosion coatings fail.

THP-1000 Coating made with VITON® is compounded with 26% solids, making it easy to apply. An impervious, flexible, leak free surface is created if used in conjunction with Fluorodyn Caulk.

Fluorodyn Coating made with VITON® is only available from Thermodyn and is black in color.
